Think of it as our introduction to each other. While it doesn’t include every service, it gives us the perfect opportunity to discuss your hair goals in depth and how I can help you achieve them.

Once you’ve reserved your session, keep an eye out for an email from me with a digital consultation form. This form helps me understand your hair and your journey—whether it’s noting any allergies I should be aware of, finding out if you’re more of a tea or coffee lover (because that’s important!), or learning about any struggles you’re facing and your ultimate hair goals. You’ll even have the option to include inspiration photos. This step is essential in ensuring I can provide you with the best, most personalized experience possible.
What's a new journey without a warm welcome? I understand that seeing a new stylist can feel a bit overwhelming. There are always questions—new salon, new location—what’s the vibe like? What payment methods are accepted? Is parking convenient? Will it be quiet enough for me to work, and is there Wi-Fi? What if I’m running late—will there be a fee?
I get it, and to make things easier, I’ve created this welcome packet to address all those concerns and take the stress off your plate. Once I receive your digital consultation form, you’ll receive the welcome packet via email. I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and truly welcomed—because you are.
I want you to feel completely at home in my studio. It’s just you and me, so I can truly tailor every detail just for you—exactly the way **you** like it. The day before your appointment, you’ll receive a quick questionnaire (it'll take less than 3 minutes, I promise!). It helps me create the perfect vibe: What music should we listen to during your cleanse and condition? What show will we have on? What drink can I have ready when you arrive?
Need some quiet to work, or just want to relax without chatting? No problem. If you prefer a calm, focused atmosphere, simply select “quiet experience” on the form, and we’re good to go. This time is all about you, and you deserve to have everything just the way you want it.

Located in the modern, stylish Phenix Salon Suites, I offer a completely private studio to cater to all your haircare needs. Say goodbye to spending your entire Saturday in a crowded beauty shop—I value your time. Your appointment is yours alone, and you’ll have my undivided attention from start to finish. With a one-on-one setting, every moment is focused entirely on you.
If you're facing hair challenges and want privacy, rest assured—it's just the two of us, so no one will be in your business. Want to kick off your shoes, cozy up with a warm blanket, and sip a glass of wine? Feel free to relax—my door stays closed and locked for your comfort and peace of mind. You're safe here, so settle in and enjoy your "me time."
At your first appointment, we’ll begin with an in-depth consultation tailored to your lifestyle and ultimate hair goals, using the Digital Consultation Form you completed via email. We’ll chat about any questions or challenges you might be facing, and fine-tune the plan for today’s session. We’ll also ensure your maintenance routine fits effortlessly into your daily lifestyle/routine, so you can fully enjoy your new look without the fuss.
For future appointments, we’ll do what I like to call a “check-in consultation”—brief but just as thorough. This lets us review your progress, address any new concerns, and make sure your hair stays in sync with your lifestyle and evolving goals, because things do change. When you’re exploring different styles—textured, sleek, extensions, or color—my focus is on keeping your hair healthy while you have a little fun with it.
My signature cleanse and condition treatment will have you drifting off at the bowl. With warming eye masks, your choice of music, soothing steam hydration treatments, and a relaxing scalp massage, all you need to do is lay back and unwind. Healthy hair and scalp are the foundation of every style, and they can be influenced by many factors—medications, changing seasons, water quality, scalp conditions, and overall health. We’ll discuss any challenges you may be facing and address them with care. But while you’re at the bowl, take a moment for yourself and let your mind wander. The experience will take you there, guaranteed.
This is exactly what you came for, right? Whichever style you’ve chosen will be expertly crafted to complement your unique facial features, head shape, and hair texture. If you’re tender-headed and need a gentler touch, just let me know—I’m happy to adjust. While I pride myself on having a gentle hand, your comfort is my top priority, so don’t hesitate to speak up if anything feels uncomfortable.
Throughout the styling session, I’ll check in with you—where would you like your hair parted? Is the tension just right? Do we need to make any adjustments? After more than 20 years in this industry, I know communication is key, so feel free to share your preferences—this experience is all about you.

I’m all about spoiling you when you’re in the studio! Not only will you have an incredible hair experience, but you’ll also enjoy a selection of curated refreshments, including Voss water, wine options and everything in between. I also like to keep things fresh with seasonal specialty drinks. So whether you’re craving something healthy, indulgent, sweet, or savory, I’ve got you covered. Cozy blankets? Check. Wi-Fi? Of course.
And that’s not all—there’s a phone charging station, an electric mug warmer to keep your drink perfectly warm, a microwave if you decide to bring something of your own, and a refrigerator for extra convenience. If you book one of my extended services, a complimentary lunch is actually provided for you. Lastly, multiple streaming services are available for your viewing pleasure. You can literally let your hair down when you step into my studio, and I’ll take it from there. Best of all, every salon amenity is complimentary, designed to make your visit as relaxing as possible!
Looking to add a little something extra to your visit? You can elevate your session with options like Steam Hydration treatments, extended scalp massages for ultimate relaxation, intricate and trendy braid or twist patterns, or nourishing scalp treatments. Some upgrades need to be added when you reserve your session, while others can be decided on in studio. Not sure which to add beforehand? A simple rule of thumb: if the add-on lists 30 minutes or more, go ahead and select it during booking. If it’s shorter, we can decide together in the studio.
Myself and the guests who’ve already made ESB their salon home are the laid back luxury kind and that means we enjoy comfort with a little bit of fancy without overdoing it. That’s why The Boutique offers a curated selection of items we love, both in and outside of the salon. From premium handmade bomb twists that I personally craft in-house, to chic accessories and classy stemware, each item is carefully chosen.
