Bridal Terms of Service
At Enhance Salon Boutique, our goal is to create a bridal experience that feels effortless, personal, and beautifully organized from start to finish.
These policies are designed to ensure that every bride receives the time, attention, and professionalism she deserves. Please review the details below prior to confirming your bridal reservation. Once your date is secured, these terms will guide the planning and execution of your bridal services.
Payments & Retainers
• A paid retainer and signed agreement are required to officially reserve your bridal date. You’re welcome to take a little time after your consultation to make your final decision—just note that your date remains open until your retainer is received.
• Retainers are non-refundable, but may be applied toward a rescheduled date within 12 months if your wedding plans change and the new date is available.
• Your bridal investment is divided into three structured payments to keep planning simple and stress-free:
– Payment 1: Retainer (25%) – Due once you decide to move forward after your consultation.
– Payment 2: Trial (25%) – Paid on the day of your bridal trial (the trial is included in your total investment).
– Payment 3: Final Balance (50%) – Due 7–14 days before your wedding day.
• Your $75 consultation fee is non-refundable, but will be credited toward your total bridal balance if you move forward with booking.
Example:
For a $1,000 bridal total: $75 consultation fee (paid first), $250 retainer, $250 trial payment, and a $425 final balance after your $75 consultation credit is applied.
After your consultation, you’ll receive a personalized bridal contract within 72 hours outlining your confirmed services, terms, and final quote. The contract must be signed and the retainer paid to officially secure your wedding date. Once both are completed, your bridal reservation is confirmed, and you’ll receive a welcome email with next steps.
Consultation & Trial
• Every bride begins with a bridal consultation to discuss your vision, style preferences, and package options.
• A bridal trial is required for all booked brides to ensure your look is perfected before the wedding day.
• Trials are typically scheduled 6–10 weeks before your wedding day.
• We strongly recommend bringing your veil (or one similar in length and style), hair jewelry, and bridal accessories, and wearing a neckline similar to your gown. If possible, have your makeup artist do a light glam for your trial to get the most accurate preview of your full bridal look.
• Any style changes after your trial may require additional time or fees.
Travel & On-Site Services
• Travel within 30 miles of Memphis, TN is included in your base bridal package unless otherwise stated.
• For locations beyond that radius, flat-rate, roundtrip travel fees apply for clear and consistent pricing:
– 31–60 miles (roundtrip): $75 flat rate
– Over 60 miles: Custom quote (may include lodging if an overnight stay is required)
• All travel fees are calculated from Enhance Salon Boutique and are due with your final payment (7–14 days before your wedding).
• Early call times (before 7:00 AM) require an additional $50 early start fee, due with your final balance.
• Any parking, valet, or hotel costs required for your location will be added to your final invoice and due at the same time as your final payment.
For on-site styling, please ensure the space includes:
– A standard-height chair
– Adequate lighting (near natural light, if possible)
– Two grounded power outlets (110–120V, 15 amp minimum) for styling tools
– A small table or counter for styling products and tools
Timing & Scheduling
• Styling times vary by service but typically range from 2–5 hours for the bride, depending on style and prep needs.
• Bridal party or guest styles are booked based on time and complexity.
• Please arrive (or have hair prepped) clean, dry, and product-free unless otherwise advised.
• If hair is not cleansed, dried, or prepared as discussed during your consultation or pre-wedding communication, your final look may differ from the intended style. The service price remains the same, as additional time or adjustments may not be possible on-site.
To ensure accurate timing and styling results, I request to see the hair of each bridal party member scheduled for paid styling services in advance (via photos or a brief consult) so I can confirm that the requested look is achievable with or without extensions and whether any texture modification will be needed.
• The bride is responsible for communicating chosen styles to each member of the bridal party. All members should be aware of what their selected style entails (including heat use, extensions, or manipulation) prior to the wedding day.
• Any changes or disagreements regarding styling preferences on the wedding day may cause delays or adjustments to the schedule, but service pricing remains unchanged.
• Late arrivals or unprepared hair may shorten your session or require additional fees.
• A final timeline will be reviewed and confirmed before the wedding week to ensure a smooth, stress-free day.
Changes & Cancellations
• Changes to the bridal party count or services must be made no later than 30 days before the wedding date.
• Cancellations after a retainer is paid will forfeit the retainer amount.
• If a wedding is postponed, the retainer may be transferred one time within 12 months (subject to stylist availability).
• In the rare event of illness or emergency on the stylist’s end, Enhance Salon Boutique will make every effort to provide an approved replacement stylist or issue a full refund of any monies paid.
Wedding Day Expectations
Please ensure your getting-ready location is free of clutter and has sufficient lighting and seating.
• For safety reasons, only the bride and confirmed guests receiving services should be in the immediate styling area during the service window. This helps maintain a calm, safe environment, as there will be hot tools and sharp objects in use. Enhance Salon Boutique is not responsible for any injuries that occur within the styling area.
• Additional guests or interruptions can delay services and may incur additional fees.
• Photography and videography are welcome — please tag @enhancesalonboutique when sharing your beautiful moments.
• Photos and short video clips may be taken during the styling process for portfolio and marketing purposes. I’m always respectful of your privacy and will not post any bridal images or footage until I’ve received your permission.
• Please note that individuals present in the styling area may appear in behind-the-scenes content. If anyone prefers not to be photographed or filmed, they should remain outside of the immediate styling space during recording.
